September 2020 | NEWSLETTER

Yep, we’re still here! It has been a challenging 6 months for all of us. We have done our very best to keep our studio open with certain restrictions. Though it has not been easy, we thank God everyday we are still here. Every week more of our students have returned, and new students have come to join us. A special thank you to all those who continued to support us during these tough times.

If you have any concerns please feel free to contact me via e-mail @ wycl55@sbcglobal.net. I will reply back as fast as possible.

We have no upcoming events or announcements at this time. We miss you all and are hopeful we will see you soon.

We have a couple of new things in the studio. We have a rack with shirts and uniforms (both partial & full) at discounted prices as well as shirts that have no logos on them. We also have a 20% discount on private lessons till the end of the year.

Thanks and we hope to see you very soon!

August 2020 | NEWSLETTER

We are nearing the end of summer. Kellogg’s American Kenpo Karate Studio is OPEN for regular scheduled classes. We have taken all measures needed for the safety of our Students and Instructors. If you haven’t already joined us back at the studio, we want to assure you that we have done our very best to make it a safe environment for all of us to continue our learning and practice in our martial art.

If you have any friends and family looking to join, we would love it if you would share our information. You may also direct them to our website @ www.kelloggskarate.com or our facebook page @  https://www.facebook.com/kelloggskarate/ where they may get all the information they might need about our studio.

July 2020 | NEWSLETTER

We are OPEN!

I would like to extend a special thanks to everyone who helped out either at the TNT Fireworks Stand, contributing to our cause and all those who kept the studio open. We had a fantastic year! We did about four times our normal sales over the four day period. It was fun, hard work and a real blessing. This will enable us to continue to remain open in these turbulent times.

We know that these present times have been tough for us all. Many have lost their jobs and/or had hours cut, possibly having to close businesses. We are here for you. Please do not let this stop you from bringing your children or yourself to classes. We are a community and we will assist in any way we can.

I have been seeing more “learn karate online classes” or “get your black belt online”. To be legit, that’s impossible. Online is great for review but you cannot learn any Martial Arts by watching someone else do it. Don’t waste your money and endanger yourself. “Be too legit to quit” and join a real karate school (Dojo). There are plenty to choose from. We of course prefer you choose us, but wish you the best in all you do.

“There is no try, there is only do or do not”.

Have a great month and hope to see you all soon.

WE ARE OPEN

We are excited to be open again. We look forward to having you join us in the dojo!

We have some guidelines from the state that we need to adhere to in order for our studio to open again.

  1. There will be a sign-in sheet at the door. Every student will have to be signed in and have their temperature scanned at the door.
  2. There is a Waiver/Release COVID-19 form that every student must have completed, per the state.
  3. Students may wear masks if the parents prefer, but it is not required.
  4. Parents will not be able to sit inside the studio due to the max capacity requirement that is currently in place by the state, but we will have seats set up right outside the roll-up doors that will remain open, for parents’ viewing.
  5. There is a six feet distance requirement put in place by the state, we do have to adhere to that as best as possible. We are not supposed to have any physical contact, so we will do our best to teach the techniques and katas, while doing our best to adhere to these new guidelines.
  6. Finally, the max capacity for a class is 9 students. If you should show up and the class is full, you may attend the following class, they will not allow us to exceed the max per class.

We will have to follow these guidelines until the state gives us permission to do otherwise. Thank you so much for your cooperation.
